Estonia to Change Over 50% of its Laws
Over 50 percent of current Estonian laws would need to be modified if the country would manage to enter the Eurozone – something that is it more and more expected to happen in according to adoption of euro, expectedly in the beginning of next 2011.
The confirmation of this came straight from the mouth of the Estonian Prime Minister, Mr. Andrus Ansip, who stated that “In connection with the adoption of euro, 236 out of 418 laws currently in effect in Estonia will have to be changed. “
This should not be a great issue anyways as most of the changes will have be merely formal and as the process of law modification smoothly goes with the approval of the government.
