Bank of Estonia assets fell by 266 mln kroons in January thumbnail

Bank of Estonia assets volume fell by 266 mln kroons or 0.6% during January to 44.5 bln kroons at the end of the month, Postimees Online writes.

The central bank’s gold and net foreign currency reserve formed 41.1 bln kroons at the end of January, a fall by 2.2% in a month.

The central bank’s obligations-free reserve grew in January 0.4% to 5.3 bln kroons.

Base money demand fell in January 1%; total base money volume was 35.5 bln kroons at the end of the month.

Bank of Estonia capital, reserves and profit total grew in January by 11.8 mln kroons to 5.6 bln kroons.
