Estonia Plans Aid for Haiti
Helps from other countries are coming to the island and Europe must play a fundamental role in trying to overcome the emergency as soon as possible.
As National Broadcasting reported, Gert Teder, member of Estonian Disaster Relief Team (EDRT), departed to Haiti in the EU evaluation team for evaluating the needs of the country and coordinating all the aid that is coming to the island.

Estonia, as well as the entire international community is currently involved in mapping out under the leadership of the United Nations, what is needed and can be done to help Haiti and people in Haiti,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet.
Mr. Paet also confirmed that there is an Estonian citizen who’s currently living in Haiti and he was unharmed in the earthquake.
