From Church to Mansion
A DNA test turned an Estonian pastor into a rich man as it finally proved that he is a descendant of one of the wealthiest men along the Baltic States.
The men, Aadu Luukas, died in 2006 leaving millions of kroons behind himself being also well-known and highly respected in Estonia for his charity work.
At first his fortune seemed to be on the way of ending up in the hands of Indrek Luukas, apparently only son and heir.
This as he did not know that his father had another son, Riho Pors, a pastor in the Estonian Pentecostal Church.
Pors went to prove to claim his part of the legacy and, thanks to a DNA test that certified his ties with Luukas, he finally became eligible to share the vast patrimony left by Mr. Luukas senior.
