Tallinn Port, the best among the Baltic Sea

Tallinn port had the best performance in 2009 between all the other biggest scales in the Baltics

Tallinn Port registered the best results in the first 10 months of the year if compared with the other three largest ports in the Baltic region: Klaipeda, Vetspils and Riga.

While Riga port has witnessed an increas of 3, 8% (24, 95 million tons) in the cargo turnover, Tallinn Port has increased his one by 6, 3% (25, 87 million tons), becoming the most successful.

After these ones comes Vetspils Port in the third position, with a 3, 5% reduction compared with the first ten months of last year. Anyways, Vetspils has exceeded Klaipeda Port, which has the worse results with 11% less of cargo turnover comparing it with the same period of last year.
