Enterprise Estonia (EAS) made a donation of EEK 1, 5 million in order to facilitate Estonia to participate in the next Eurovision Contest that will take place in Oslo, Norway.

Who will be the next Sandra Nurmsalu?
Maria Alajõe, EAS member, asserted that for her foundation the European contest is a very good way to introduce and publicize the country to a very large audience and this is the reason why they have done the donation.
On the other hand, ERR, country’s broadcaster, will bear with EEK 300.000 of the costs of the national contest in which the singer who will finally go to Oslo will be elected.
It is worth mentioning that until these investments have been made public, there were lot of possibilities that Estonia would not participate in Eurovision due to a cut in the ERR budgets.
