“The medicines will be sent within the next few days. We hope that the aid provided by Estonia will help to alleviate the situation in Ukraine,” said the minister.
The arrival of flu in Ukraine dates back to October 30, when three Western regions of the country were declared epidemic zones, also declaring an A/H1N1 virus quarantine for eight cities in that area and even taking the decision to close the schools for three weeks.
On 31 October, Ukraine asked openly for help to the EU and directly to Estonia, to get resources and treatments against the new virus.
