With the aim of increasing the competitiveness of Estonian companies in international markets, Enterprise Estonia has supported 265 projects in the exports sector since last spring.

“Estonian export volumes have doubled over the last five years and over 5.000 Estonian firms have posted considerable export revenue”, explained Enterprise Estonia export division director Allan Korjas.

The total amount of 260 million kroons it has been divided among 177 export marketing projects, 72 participation in or visits to foreign trade affairs and 16 cooperation projects.

The destinations of all these projects have gone more often to Finland, Sweden , Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany and Russia, while the origin of the most of the exports is Tallinn and Harju County, Tartu County, Ida-Viru County, Parnu County and Saaremaa.
