
The Finnish and Estonian prime ministers met during the event “Baltic Sea in the foreseeable future”

As IMF showed optimism, PM Andrus Ansip forgot that he even declared that he did not promise Euro to anyone
to discuss major challenges facing the Baltic Sea region.
During the seminar, the head of the Estonian Government also talked about the fiscal policy goal of the country joining the Euro in 2011 and about his goals about renewable energy.
Andrus Ansip pointed his vision for the future of the region saying that the economy is improving while the crisis recedes and added that, in his opinion, within the next decade the region will be even more homogenous, with all the Baltic Region countries joining the Euro zone.
The Estonian Prime Minister also said the countries in the Baltic region should strengthen their ties in the field of energy in order to create a broader and a more powerful market.
He also confessed is hopes that in future the Baltic region will be known around the world for its high level of use of sustainable and innovative technologies.
