WhosRich.me – I Bought New Socks, and You?

WhosRich.me – I Bought New Socks, and You? thumbnail

WhosRich.me is a new application that allows users to be witness of the purchases that their friends and other people do.

According to its founder, Kaarel Kala, “People are interested in knowing what others spend their money on. Until now one could follow what others are buying via tabloids and featuring articles on “celebrities seen shopping”. WhosRich takes it to the next level – now everyone can share their daily purchases and track what people are buying around the world with ease.”

Users of this free website can share any procurement of goods and services that they have done, as long as the rules of conduct of the page are respected. Thus they can post from the milk they bought for breakfast to the purchase of a laptop or a new pair of shoes.

WhosRich is focusing on smoothing the information flow between consumers. Vendors could potentially be interested in receiving feedback on their products, however, as Kala says, “it is not the main goal of the site”.

Given the possible comparison with other social networks like Facebook or Twitter, the founder maintains that unlike the previous two, that have no specific target audience, WhosRich is targeting the purchasing market segment.

And you, what did YOU buy today?

This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.

  1. knowing Kaarel Kala he probably has a pathetic idea hiddden behind that site… like sponsored messages?

  2. can you tell me how do we know each other?
