Tallinn Port Will Get 800 Million from the Government
Estonian administration has approved a loan to the port operator AS Tallinna Sadam in order to fund some infrastructure

The port of Tallinn is the biggest in the Baltic for passengers and cargos
investments, including the port of Muuga which, in the mind of the Government, covers a strategic importance.
The loan will run for up to 15 years is made with the goal of “avoid refinancing risks due to financial market uncertainty,” since commercial banks contacted for giving their financial support for the development of the port made available only short-term offers.
The Estonian State is the full owner of the port of Tallinn, which is the biggest cargo and passenger port complex in the whole Baltic region with a 29 million tones of cargo and nearly seven million passenger traffic per year.
