
Golfing holidaymakers are being invited to play their favourite game at night while on a weekend break in the Baltics.
A country club in Estonia boasts that it offers 27 holes on United States Golf Association-approved courses.
The Sea Course offers spectacular views, says the club while their Stone Course allows players to work their way around natural rock formations.
The Estonian Golf & Country Club is one of eight official European Tour courses.
A spokesperson for the club compared the grounds to courses such as Portugal’s Quinta do Lago and the PGA Golf de Catalunya in Spain.
The club’s site includes pre-historic burial sites and the remains of an ancient village.
An archaeological excavation on the golf course revealed the location of a village called Ristikangrumäe which disappeared from maps after the 17th century.
A history room in the clubhouse displays artefacts found during the excavations.
